Our founder, Remi Campan created a team of respected experts in cabinet making and boating and trained the team in the techniques to produce beautiful synthetic decks.
RECOGNIZED EXPERTISE
Our team are based in La Rochelle at our workshop, dedicated to the manufacture of made-to-measure panels, has the surface area and tools required to assemble the synthetic cladding using the professional thermowelding technique.
Each production run is unique and is based on a 1:1 template or dimension sheet that accurately records all required finishes.
The laths are cut and assembled one by one by thermowelding, guaranteeing long-lasting watertightness of the cladding. Panels are made in a single piece, allowing alignment of the various parts.
All assembly, cutting and finishing stages are carried out manually. This meticulous workshop process ensures minimal immobilization of the boat during gluing.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Rémi Campan, our founder and CEO, sadly passed away in 2023. His legacy is being continued by the amazing team here at Bonaventura Yachting, a team he built up, trained and supported since Bonaventura Yachting expanded into France in 2011.
Remi’s extensive marine experience started back in 1990. Whilst in Canada in 2006, he discovered synthetic teak, an innovative alternative to teak wood, and saw it as a product with a bright future. Remi set up Bonaventura Yachting in Montreal, and then later expanded into France.
Following this expansion, Remi’s collaboration with Flexiteek International AB (Sweden) secured the distribution contract for France. His determination and commitment over the years, and the legacy he has left us has seen the business go from strength to strength.
